Recommended: For those who love literary beauty & 1930’s visuals
Reasons for watching: I’d heard it was good & it sounded interesting
Reasons to keep watching: It’s a beautiful drama. I was enraptured, mainly by Yoo Ah-in.
Re-watch: I would watch this drama again for Yoo Ah-in’s 1930s hair. I know it’s a wig but it looks so good. He’s in too many historical dramas, he’s needs to be in ones I’d like.
I love how they did the 1930’s scenes and how it made the premise of the drama. There’s no denying how devastating that period of time was but the writers focused on the light that the rebellion brought while touching upon the hope of a better future. Carpe diem is used constantly throughout the drama and not just as the name of the bar but as the characters’ mindset. They’re making the most of their hard lives both in the 1930’s and now. Reasons for watching: Part of the School series & I love School 2013
Reasons to keep watching: The plot was dramatic but gripping, the characters cutely realistic
Re-watch: Maybe one day but I’m leaning towards no. If you look at my posts, I’ve hardly watched any dramas this year. This is only the second drama this year that I’ve not only finished but binge watched. It’s really good. Let’s pretend School 2015 never happened and hope the School series just gets bigger and better.
I’m looking forward to future works of the actors.Read More »
Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo are getting married!? I did think they were dating when the first rumour associated picture surfaced but then I didn’t really care because I didn’t really care about their Descendant of the Sun characters so it left my mind. Married!? It’s surprising they would do this at the peak of his career. This won’t stop his star power but it’s still surprising for Koreans.Read More »

Reasons for watching: I saw some super cute pictures and gifs accompanied by a lot of positive comments
Reasons to keep watching: The feels! I don’t remember the last time I got so invested in the characters themselves rather than the story or what’s happening to them. This means I replayed the cute scenes 10 times rather than just 3. It helped that my internet was slow so I had to keep buffering but if it was a bad drama that would just piss me off… more than it did.
