Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
This would have received a higher rating if either I liked Jang Na-ra, and therefore shipped them harder, or if the older actor of Lee Joon-young was as good as D.O. was.
Recommended: If you like psychology or mystery or psychological thrillers
Reasons for watching: Seo In-guk. Genius profiler.
Reasons to keep watching: Seo In-guk, Park Bo-gum new love, so interesting.

Gush time: Seo In-guk is so sexy in this. He just appears and talks all smartly then walks off again. ♥
Park Bo-gum is so good looking and a great actor. I’m really anticipating Reply 1988. Can’t wait! So excited!
I absolutely love their bromance! So much! They are super cute❣❣❣ I think the psychopath is meant to be part of their bromance as well, at least the psychopath wants to be, but I just didn’t feel it. He’s not as good an actor as the other two.
The brothers are super cute together ♥ ♥ ♥ and with Lee Joon-young
D.O. is an amazing actor! I can really get the feel of the character from him but the older version doesn’t match D.O.’s version. D.O. really truly acted the psychopath out but the older actor just seemed like a slightly evil guy. I get that he was supposed to pretend to be nice and normal but I didn’t feel the ‘pretend’ part at all. He really seemed like a dorky guy with suspicious intentions, which is very, very different to psychopath. The actor didn’t even need to act out the suspicious intentions, that was productions job. Maybe all the plastic surgery went to the older version’s facial expressions, the character’s surgery, not the actor… or is it the actor too ;0 . I wonder what D.O. would be like playing a non-crazy character though.
I love his house. I want it!
The evil guy wears odd socks! I noticed it late in the series. Was it like that from the start? Why?
♥ ♥ ♥ bromance, literally bros ♥ ♥ ♥
Rant time: I don’t like Jang Na-ra much. She’s not a bad actress but I’m just not into her. So I didn’t squeal over her romance moments and didn’t have shipping feelings.
Who sent the item that triggered his memory in the first place? Not that I remember what the item was but I’m pretty sure we never found out who.
In ep 1, when it’s set during 1996, amongst all the fancy old looking books, what do I see? Breaking Dawn. As in the Twilight series Breaking Dawn. Why? Why is it there? It didn’t even exist back then. Why is it even in a house where the residents are two little boys and a very busy psychologist father? He doesn’t have time for that. Also where is the rest of the series? I can’t stop staring every time it appears for the rest of the drama. It’s still there in the present time sitting in the same spot. Actually why do shots keep being taken from that angle which shows Breaking Dawn right up front. So weird.
What’s with the clear thing in the middle of bricks in the house? Is it a chimney? Isn’t that too fancy for a 90s brick house? They utilise it a lot in shots but is it meant to mean something or it’s just because it’s cool?
♥ ♥ ♥ Seo In-guk ♥ ♥ ♥
Conclusion: Great drama! Love Seo In-guk and now Park Bo-gum too. Love psychological stories although they can be a bit scary!
